Points to ponder:
1.Fricks had a business but seemed to have lost it? Why unsure!!!!!!
2. From what I understand Fricks was made a Bank VP without any banking experience? Why unsure!!!!!!!!!!
3.Would it be a conflict of interest if a commissioner that happens to be a bank vp had special knowledge of land deals or zonings??????who would benefit from such knowledge????? Just questions or statements to ponder, maybe someone could enlighten wondering minds of the enchanted lands.
4. Could it be a special interest conflict????who profits???? not the tax payers!!!!!!
5. Does he procrastinate on important decission that affect the county???

| Seems to me that it would be considered a conflict of interest. But H*ll lets all just procrastinate about it now....it may go away in 7 or 8 years as long as that medling gordon county officer and rome news wire stays out of our way...and R-NT helps us slide by..LOL

what kind of business did he have? why did he loose it??what kind of issues could being a bank vp and a commissioner bring up???could this give a bank the special or privilage knowledge of a commissioner????

Now I dont know about you all but I see a problem. They may not call it a conflict, Id call it "parties to a crime". Not only was he breaking the law he was getting paid to break the law. He was getting paid with Floyd County tax dollars. This was approved by the County Commission. I am guessing they probally didnt want us to know this. Dont give us the excuse that he didnt know about the problem , There is no way he couldnt have known. Like I said earlier, if he didnt know, why didnt he give his license to the officer when asked to produce it, instead he gave his FLOYD COUNTY COMMISSION ID CARD,thus representing himself as a Commissioner of Floyd County in an offical capacity. When he gave it to the officer it made it county buisness and the taxpayers buisness. Im assuming he was looking for "COUNTY COMMISSIONER IMMUNITY". Then he got a surprise. His ID didnt mean squat in Calhoun....... Id would paid have seen that.

Why do you even think it's your tax dollars anymore? After this latest fiasco, since the rest of the commission gang is willing to hoover with Fricks, I have absolutely no confidence, faith or respect for these men.

Just goes to show you why not many people have respect for the County Commissioners. Do they have the power to investigate themselves and find out what is really going on or do they think if just getting the county lawyer to talk with Garry is enough. Duh the county lawyer is there to protect the county and county interest. I wonder and I am hoping that some of you all with legal expierence can advise= is procrastination a legal defense excepted in courts in georgia or the federal courts?
Your Honor , ladies and gentlemen of the jury, my client knew what he was doing was wrong and he was breaking the law, but he was going to quit the next day and start straighten out his life. I believe you should find him not guilty because of his procrastination and let us just forget about the whole thing.
