Does anyone know what was happening in West Rome this morning around 4am?  My husband said he saw about 5 police units coming down Shorter with lights running and then when he came back he saw them positioned around the shopping center across from Wal-mart. There was one in front of Big Lots, one at the donation drop off at the railroad tracks on Redmond Cir, one at Neugent Body Shop, and then a couple on the backstreets in the area.

I can't find RPD and have to listen to it through iTunes. I can't get the archives to play at all. Do you have to be a member to get RPD?

when you go to scanfloyd.com , go to scanner archive, click on the date you want and then the time frame and it will play for you

I will have to agree with @work. the feed sounds like crap. Someone has been spending too much time at the radio shack. I loved the line on the scan floyd website about listening on your PDA. What is the world coming to!?!?!? :X

can you not hear the white noise in the background and the half second pulse in the signal??? when the receiver stops on a channel, the radio audio is much lower than the noise. i do streaming media for a living. (no i dont work for RNT or RNW or any of the media outlets. i work in the commercial arena.) the stream is the same for everyone.

you mush have thought the shriner telethon that aired 2 weekends ago was ready for network TV as well.

:X

Hmm Roman I in no way attacked you, some trying to come off like all are idiots is a bit much.

Yes there is some white noise, but even a real comp. novice is capable of adjusting the speaker settings to lower or block that out.

Not everyone is an EXPERT in audio, and for a general free service I think it sounds awesome, if you really want better, go buy a station and set it up.
