Ok, call me crazy (those of you that know me, know I am), but I know I heard something on the scanner this morning about a 2 year old child with a pickle stuck in the nose.
I figured it must have actually been a pretty serious situation, as I heard the call made twice and the dispatcher's voice never "cracked". I think the child was having difficulty breathing.
While it was a bit humorous, it is not my intent to make light of the situation .... BUT, I did wonder if anyone else heard this and if the child was ok.

| I have personal knowledge of a youngster being taken to the ER because he had shoved several Tic Tacs into his nasal cavaties. Not one of my prouder "mommy moments." LOL

| my daughter stuck a bead from a necklace up her nose when she was little. I laid her on the floor to change her diaper and saw something shiney in her nose. We went to the ER. What a stinker!

| My two must be weird kids. I think I'm we are the only ones that never had them stick anything up their nose (but a finger). LOL

Thanks for replying ... I knew that is what I heard. I was very impressed with your professional demeanor during while dispatching that. I knew it wasn't a good thing .... I am glad the child is OK.
